Remember these times are a suggestion, not a requirement. The goal is 1-2 hours of work.

Please complete this page and bring it with you to our drop off/pick up day at the flag pole on Wednesday, June 10th! If you happen to finish it early and are near school, you are also welcome to drop off the page to the Little Snoopy Library outside the school office. Here is a video reminder of the assignment
5-10 SECOND DANCE VIDEO FOR MRS. COSTA’S PROJECT: 5-10 second video of you dancing. Siblings, parents, nannies, pets, stuffies can join too! Show off your best dance moves! ☺If you would prefer not to dance, you are welcome to send in a fun picture (or two) from this school year and/or distance learning. Even if you choose to dance, you are also welcome to send in a favorite picture. To have some music to dance to, here are a few songs that will be included in the video!
Read to Someone
This is a fun time to “Face time” a classmate or family member and read together. You can choose from the following ways to read to someone:
- Check for understanding. You share one book and take turns reading it. One reads a page or two and when he is finished the other person “checks for understanding”. This means you retell what happened in the story (who, what, where). Then the other person reads a page or two…
- Fluency Practice: If you have older brothers or sisters, this might be the choice for you. One reads a page out loud showing good fluency (taking breaks for periods, commas, using voice). The other then reads the same page.
- Read 2 different Books: This is perfect if you are facetiming a friend or family member. You both get out good fit books and take turns reading a page or two of your own book.
Break: Go outside, exercise, or dance!

Check email for link if you want to join! Today we will have time to share our favorite part of 1st grade. Then we will have Miss Brito lead us in a directed drawing of a dolphin. Finally, we will end with a dance party.

Go outside, play games, bike ride, hike, paint, draw, put together puzzles, plant a seed… etc
