Happy Student Appreciation Day! I am so blessed to be able to teach your wonderful children. Every day I wake up genuinely excited to come to work. In honor of all their hard work the students enjoyed a delicious nacho bar lunch, performed a dance at the Homecoming game, and enjoyed a little treat at the end of the day.

Thank you Mrs. Slama and Mr. Bergman for coming to our class to talk about their jobs on vocation day. The students had a lot of great questions answered.

Valentine’s Day: Valentine’s Day is coming up soon! Signing a name 20 plus times can be a big job for children. Please start early so that the activity is fun and not dreaded. Cards can be brought to school for safe keeping when they are finished. The disappointment of forgotten cards is overwhelming. I attached a class list to the email to help you. If your child wants the class list for Mrs. Todd’s class (optional), let me know. I encourage your children not to bring candy on this day if possible. Thank you! We will celebrate Tuesday, February 14th.

Field Trip: Thank you to Alicia, Amy, Marilyn, and Crystal for signing up to volunteer on our field trip on March 3 to the Science Center Polar Day. I still need at least 1 more volunteer! If you are interested, please email me.
