April 23, 2020 (Day #140) Happy Birthday Ella Kathleen!
Remember these times are a suggestion, not a requirement. The goal is 1-2 hours of work.
- Use singular and plural nouns with matching verbs in basic sentences. Use verbs to convey a sense of past, present, and future. Today you will practice acting out verbs by playing a verb game! You will also practice saying and acting out your own verbs for the game.
- SLE: We are Christ-Centered People who pray with intention and reverence and participates actively in liturgy and faith traditions. Today you will have the opportunity to participate in our whole-school mass! Remember to sing and pray along as we watch Fr. Crispin lead us in mass on Facebook Live.
- Develop a simple sketch, drawing, or physical model to illustrate how the shape of an object helps it function as needed to solve a given problem. Today you will learn about the giraffe! You will learn how a giraffe’s body is designed to help it survive in the African Savannah. You will also ask and answer questions about animals. For example, why does a giraffe have such long legs and a long neck?
