Sight Word Helper: You will call students one by one and have them read their sight words to you from assigned envelopes. This is a way for them to practice reading the words correctly.
Math Facts Helper: You will call students one by one and have them show you all the ways to make their magic numbers (addition facts only).
Reading with Students: Using a binder (with all the notes you need), you will call students one by one and he/she will pick a good fit book to read to you. You will check fluency and then ask questions (comprehension).
IPads: We will have an app/online access to books students can listen to during Daily 5. You will help with headphones. When they finish a story, students will “retell” what happened in their own words.
